The evolution of the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals, «GHS», has given a strong impetus to the proliferation of regulations not only in Europe but at global level as well. Asian countries, among others, have in recent years been very active in regulating the production, use and trading of chemicals. REACH has played its part in generating similar regulations, among which are China REACH in China and K-REACH in South Korea.
